Kraken - The art of threes

My third (3 there too!, w00t w00t) and last submission for the Art of Threes contest. This, also, goes as a wallpaper...

Entire piece was created using photoshop 5.5 with standard filters, and bryce 5 for the landscape render in the middle orb.

I wanted to create something that had three in it, but not as obvious as the number of 3. Also I wanted the piece to be something that shows who I am. I just love shapes, orbs, carving and stone textures... This piece is the result of combining these passions. I thought the growing orbs could symbolize the growth of DA, and one day, maybe at the launch of DAv3, deviantART will be perfected, just like the the orb in the middle...

Mostly though, I just wanted to create a kickass wallpaper - with 3 hidden here and there. The 3 orbs with 3 different colors, the 3 carved blades (3 big and 3 small)... 3 circles, like the cirles you can see on a stump, revealing the age of a tree. DA has 3 circles so far, I can't even start to imagine how many more there will be... The dots on the circles are supposed to represent all the things that have happened to and affected deviantART. Not that I know of all these things, but I'm sure you can use your imagination...
